Chapter 4: True Royalty

Alexander guided Olivia down the flower-covered aisle.

As they walked, the wealthy guests instinctively parted like the Red Sea, bowing their heads in deep respect. Several prominent CEOs tried to step forward to hand Alexander their business cards, desperate to distance themselves from Isabella’s actions.

Alexander didn't even glance at them. He kept his arm wrapped protectively around Olivia’s waist, shielding her from the fake smiles of the elite.

Behind them, the beautiful outdoor wedding was in absolute ruins.

Isabella was screaming at Ryan, Ryan was shoving her away, and the live orchestra stood frozen, their violins silent. The white roses and golden archways now felt like a beautifully decorated graveyard for two empty souls.

Alexander’s sleek, black armored limousine was waiting at the gates of the estate. The chauffeur quickly opened the door, bowing deeply as Olivia and Alexander stepped inside.

The door shut, cutting off the distant sounds of Isabella’s frantic crying.

Inside the quiet luxury of the car, Olivia finally let out a long breath she had been holding for years. She looked at her husband. “You didn't have to destroy them for me, Alexander.”

Alexander reached out, gently cupping her face with his hand. “They spent years making you feel like you were nothing because you chose a simple life with me. They needed to learn that money can buy a beautiful wedding, but it can never buy grace, loyalty, or class.”

He leaned in, kissing her forehead tenderly.

“You loved me when you thought I had nothing, Olivia. That makes you wealthier than anyone in that ballroom.”

Olivia rested her head against his chest as the limousine drove away into the evening sky, leaving the glittering lights of the toxic mansion far behind.

And beneath the quiet stars, the truth remained absolute:

The most expensive gowns can never hide an ugly heart, and the quietest love is always the one that reigns supreme.
